What is L’Activateur?
L’Activateur is a solution.
Faced with growing market and social expectations with regards to ESG and sustainability, companies are under pressure to adopt new business practices to reduce their environmental footprint, improve the well-being of employees and communities, and strengthen their governance.
This intuitive, affordable application offers a step-by-step guide to implementing eco-friendly business practices in less than two hours.
*Economic development organizations have access to additional features to help them support and monitor the progress of companies they are assisting.
What you can do using the L’Activateur app:
1 > Carry out a self-assessment of your business practices based on your company’s characteristics and your sector of activity.
2 > Get concrete action plans to improve your performance.
3 > Plan specific actions to be carried out and generate a sustainable development action plan based on your objectives.
4 > Monitor progress on your action plan.
5 > Share your sustainable development commitments and achievements with suppliers, partners and customers.

What should I do if I’m interested?
Companies and organizations:
- Check the list of economic partners to see if you are located in an area covered by an economic development organization (EDO). (To consult the list of economic partners, scroll down the page)
- If your EDO is on the list, contact the EDO to let them know you are interested in using L’Activateur and would like their support in doing so
- If none of the EDOs in your area appear on the list, you must purchase an annual subscription ($300) by contacting a L’Activateur representative at : activateur@cqdd.qc.ca

L’ActivateurTD is a sustainable development application for Quebec businesses, developed by the Centre québécois de développement durable. Its aim is to provide organizations with the tools they need to develop and communicate their sustainable development strategy.

Mélissa Rochefort
Chargée de projet – PME Durable 02
Chargée de communication
Mélissa Rochefort est diplômée en Techniques de tourisme. Elle cumule 17 ans de travail dans ce domaine au sein d’associations touristiques régionales, d’abord à Tourisme Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, ensuite à Tourisme Côte-Nord. Elle a alors eu l’occasion d’œuvrer dans des rôles de soutien/conseil, d’amélioration et développement d’outils de travail, de planification et de coordination de projets, de gestion de programme de financement, de traitement et de mise à jour de données ainsi que de formation du personnel ou de partenaires. Elle s’est par la suite dirigée vers le domaine de l’environnement, où elle a démarré un projet d’économie circulaire à la SADC Côte-Nord. De retour dans sa région natale en 2019, elle a été coordonnatrice concertation et mobilisation au sein de l’organisme de bassin versant du Saguenay. Elle a rejoint l’équipe du CQDD en septembre 2023 à titre de chargée de projet du Fonds Écoleader. Depuis avril 2024, elle assure les fonctions de chargée de projets pour le projet PME Durable 02.

Jessica Pouliot
B. A. | Conseillère ESG et développement durable
Jessica Pouliot est titulaire d’un baccalauréat en relations industrielles ainsi que d’un certificat en développement durable de l’Université Laval. Elle met à profit ses capacités d’analyse, de communication et d’organisation, acquises préalablement dans les domaines des ressources humaines et de la gestion de projets, au bénéfice du CQDD depuis 2023. Elle agit d’abord à titre de conseillère en pratiques d’affaires écoresponsables au sein du réseau québécois du Fonds Écoleader, et maintenant en tant que conseillère ESG et développement durable. Jessica accompagne tout autant des organisations dans l’amorce d’une démarche globale de développement durable, des bailleurs de fonds dans leur cheminement vers un financement durable, que des entreprises dans l’adoption de pratiques d’affaires écoresponsables. Elle est aussi formatrice au sein du programme de formation Transition PME Durable 02 pour les conseillers et les conseillères aux entreprises. Elle concrétise ainsi sa volonté de participer à l’élaboration de solutions innovantes dans le domaine du développement durable et ce, selon une approche collaborative et humaine.
